Thank you for giving me the chance to show myself. I am a postgraduate from School of Foreign Languages of Southwest University. I specialized in foreign linguistics and applied linguistics during the three-year study, psycholinguistics, in particular. As far as my study concerned, I pay much attention to both my professional knowledge about applied linguistics and extensive knowledge about other field. I attended classes such as psycholinguistics, cognitive linguistics, second language acquisition, etc. to learn a lot of knowledge that would help with my dissertation. At the same time, I explored my mind by extensive reading and improved myself in the aspects of independent thinking and teamwork. I learned my knowledge during the process of using it especially by teaching practice, thus I’ve summarized my own principles in teaching from my experience. My teaching principle is teaching updated knowledge in a vivid class. Language learning itself is more boring than other kinds of learning; therefore, what a qualified teacher does is to exert students’ interest in learning language. And in my opinion, the most effective way to do this is to design a scenario that is most related to students daily life. Students, in this way, can learn not only the language knowledge but also updated knowledge about their life which will make their life easier in the future. That is the way, I think until now, we should teach students. And I believe I can conduct better teaching practice as my teaching experiences increase day by day. As far as my personalities are concerned, I am sure to say that I am an easy-going person and absolutely good at teamwork. Meanwhile, persistence is another personality of mine. Once I set up a goal, I will never give up until the day I realize my dream. Although I insist on my own principles of dealing stuff, I am not a stubborn person. When I make mistake, I will love to be criticized and correct it immediately. With view to those I mentioned above, I am a hard working person with some experiences in teaching. And I am a quick learner with ability to conduct team work well. Thus, you shall be assured that I can be a qualified English teacher if you accept me.
